It is our honour to attend the “2017 Conference of Workability International and Workability Asia” held from 12 to 14 June at Kerry Hotel. There are more than 400 people participated in the Conference including over 200 people from overseas. We have given three presentations, included: “Barriers to Employment for Visually Impaired Persons in Hong Kong”, “Improving the Employment Opportunity of the Visually Impaired with Adaptive Equipment” and “Successful Work Experience for People who are Visually Impaired: Cases Sharing”. Moreover, Factory for the Blind has set up a booth to sell products made by the visually impaired persons in the venue, which are most welcomed by the participants. Dozens of overseas participants had played a visit to HKSB Headquarters and Factory for the Blind, to know more about our services provided to the visually impaired.
Factory for the Blind produced 500 pcs of conference bags for the participants, everyone liked it very much.
