Factory for the Blind 55th Anniversary Open Day

The Factory for the Blind organized "The 55th Anniversary Open Day of the Factory for the Blind " on 8 December 2018. Under the theme - "Breakthrough of Cocoon", we would like to show the public that our services users were trained and equipped with their better personal growth and job development through the diversified programme activities, as well as social inclusion enhancement. The event was successful and attracted over 600 visitors. We have gained support from schools, social services practitioners and business partners, public recognition also received by their participations and supports on that day.

The activities included: service guide tour, interactive games, working experimental stalls, workshops for handmade soaps and leather products.  By participation of this event, public are able to understand more about the capability and working skills of our service users.
