2025 Flag Day Successfully Held
The Society’s Flag Day was successfully held on 18 October 2025. With the support of nearly 3,000 volunteers, our flag bags were seen across different districts in Hong Kong! This year, more kindergarten and primary school students joined their parents in taking to the streets to lend their helping hands.
Highlights of the Flag Day can be viewed in the photo album on our official social media here.
The theme of the 2025 Flag Day was “Together, we light up love — Caring for vision, creating a better future”. This marked the second year of collaboration with popular Hong Kong illustrator “Daidai & Siumui”, who contributed their creativity to support the visually impaired community. In addition to the signature character flag stickers, they also designed practical commemorative items including multi-purpose eyeglass cleaning cloths, document folders, and umbrella pouch. Each item was thoughtfully created to fit into everyday life, ensuring that supporters can use them regularly.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every donor and supporting organization who made Flag Day possible! Your generosity helps raise funds for our services, including Resource Centre for the Deafblind, Career Support and Development Centre, Health Massage and Treatment Centres and Family Resource Centre for the Visually Impaired. With your support, we can continue to enhance our services and better support the visually impaired community. Thank you!
