Launching Chinese Healthcare Related Courses under the Employees Retraining Board to Explore Diversified Career Paths

The Career and Support Development Centre has been appointed as the training body of the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) since January 2024, offering its members comprehensive vocational training services. In light of the increasing maturity of the Chinese medicine industry, the Centre has specifically introduced the following two courses that were funded by ERB:

-    Foundation Certificate in Theories of Chinese Medicine (Part-time) commenced from September to October 2024.

-    Foundation Certificate in Knowledge of Dietary Supplement in Chinese Medicine (Part-time) commenced from February to April 2025

Both courses are specifically designed to meet the learning needs of visually impaired individuals. They provide systematic training in the fundamental knowledge and practical skills of Chinese medicine, enabling trainees to acquire the professional competencies required for entering the field of Chinese medicine and, consequently, opening up diversified career opportunities.
