“ Young man, please offer your seat to the elder?”
“ Whose is this? Don’t leave your stuff everywhere or I’ll throw it away!”
“ Let me help you get the food.”
“ Oh! He is blind?”
“ Hey! You cannoned into me. Don't you look your way.”
“ Oh no! Don’t blame him. He didn’t mean it. No one wants to be blind!”

Have you ever heard these in your life? Many visually impaired members often heard about these. Therefore, a group of visually impaired teenagers from the “Between Us” volunteer group of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: Family Resource Centre for the Visually Impaired, joined together and co-wrote the script for “Seeing Through the Eyes of Others”, based on their own experiences. They went further by directing and acting in the film themselves, allowing the public to understand the challenges and needs of people with visual impairments, with the aim to help the public understand their situations and learn to be considerate, to achieve harmonious inclusion in the society.
